Corporate Quiz Results - Shubh inches ahead in a tough final

The rest of Maharashtra and Goa cluster brings together some really good regions from the ground event. Pune, Nagpur and Goa all known for their young talent. The final sure reflected that as many youngsters made it to the finale this year.

The Finalists Were

• Antony – Cognizant
• Ashwarya – EY
• Siddharth – BMC Software
• Shubh – ZS Associates
• Abinash – DPA

The quiz was a tense battle as all the contestants seemed te. They also seemed to hold themselves back a little on the buzzers which does not help in a format of this nature. Shubh and Abinash got going while Siddharth did his best to try and get the scorers busy. However, he took too many half chances that did not pay off. Ashwarya, the lone lady in the fray came up with good strikes but could not hit a rhythm. It was therefore a head-to-head battle between Shubh and Abinash as the quiz entered the final round. Abinash fought to the very end, missing by just one answer as Shubh managed to stay afloat and inch into the top 12 of the country.

Mr. Rajeev Singhal, MD, Tata Steel BSL the chief guest, spoke of how the Tata Group had always believed in importance of knowledge and constant learning. The quiz was a reflection of that he observed. He always appreciated how the quiz was a way to keep oneself sharp and prepared in life.
